GARAGE
TOURS:
T-Bones Garage
From
Page 2
The
workbench is command central. Spanning most of the depth
of the garage, the built-in drawers keep tools and fasteners
hidden and out of view.
In one section of the table top we have a bath mat which
is good when you are working on delicate parts.
A cutting
board top and library of car and bike catalogs flank the
back wall. Electric power tools are on the right side with
a built-in electrical socket on the side of the unit facing
out the garage doors. It's a handy socket for working in
the big driveway also.
Hanging
above the bench is a painting of our old cabin in Big Bear,
a mirror ball that my friends Gary and Jill gave me. Under
the Porky pig is a chicken claw pipe I bought off a street
vendor in San Francisco back in the early 80's. Just below
that is a sign my Bro Nick made for my first design studio
Spike Design. A Morgan Sheppard signed Cisco Hat hangs off
the hat beam. Map of the US is on the right side with highlights
from various road trips. I found the stool in the trash
at my old studio in Costa Mesa. I painted the flames on
it to match the flamed drawers.
And,
here's a few pics with the garage full of toys.
