Arriving at Siltanen Park in Scotts Valley meant a change in the event, for now it was show and shine time. Everyone was out wiping down his or her rides after the parade. Once again the grass area that we park in was well watered and I enjoyed watching the big horsepower cars try to park without spinning the tires too much, a few of them getting sideways. No trailer queens here. For an event that involves a fairly good drive through the town I am amazed at the quality of the vehicles that participate in this wonderful event.
As the morning progressed the sun broke through and it turned out to be a nice day, but I was glad that we were loaned an EZ-UP Shade Canopy thanks again to Wayne & Chris.
