Cops and Rodders Car Show

Over 200 hot-rods and restored vehicles lined up for the big parade through Santa Cruz and Capitola on our way to Scotts Valley. While waiting in line we got a donut and some coffee supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Officers Association who hosted this 13th annual event. The funnest part of the day started right at 8:00am when all the engines roared to life, sending the seagulls airborne from the noise. We fitted Mom with a Mickey Mouse hand and she had a blast waiving at the crowds that lined the streets, balconies and porches along the route. Special thanks go out to those adults that got the little ones up in time to see the parade. It did not bother me that most were still in their PJ’s.
