FEATURED CAR:
MATT WARD'S FAMILY TRIBUTE
'64 CHEVY C10

A WOLF IN THE SHEPHARDS CLOTHING.
This truck is built as a tribute to Matt's son Bob who he lost at age 19. He started the current restoration and build in October of 2004 and finished it in June of 05. That has to be some sort of record. In October in Grant's Pass OR they picked up this bone stock 64 C-10 and in 9 short months they gave birth to an asphalt pounding monster. They bought it off a Police officer who had it stolen and when he recovered it, he had lost interest in rebuilding it.

This bad-ass truck sports, hand built aluminum console, and PRO car seats. It boogies down the track with a Bayless Racing Engine (Grants Pass, OR), 512 CI Dart Block with 15/1 compression getting to the 1/4 mile in 10.50 at 4200 lbs and 900 hp. Power gets delivered to the back through a T400 Trans, and a Ford 9" with spool. Stopping it with 4 wheel discs.

Great details on this truck include the seatbelt clip for the tailgate. A pair of GM seatbelt buckles keep the tailgate up. A simple push of the buttons releases the gate.
