SHOW:
ALL FORD PICNIC
La Palma Park, Anaheim, CA, October 02, 2005
Fords
on the Grass. What a way to stroll among one of the finest
collection of blue ovals.
I rolled
up to this show in my newly rebuilt HD Road King Custom.
There were two other bikers there parked on the sidewalk
surrounding the grass "island" full of Fords from
very early Model T's to more modern cars and trucks.
The
show was laid out nicely and the sound system was well positioned
around the island. Neatly in rows you can view model t's
and a's, or toward the center were the Fords of the 40's
a classic decade and further back in the island were the
newer models including a pair of Pintos.
Bob
Tedder's yellow 51 Toes on the Nose Ford Woody was reported
to have been owned by Tim Allen. It is a very clean ride
that goes to a lot of shows around here. Further on this
page is a real cool 58 Ford Cabriolet. Raoul Duke of Baja
Costa Mesa, says he has had this since the early 80's and
is just an old hot rod. It has a cool patina to the chrome
that just looks like it has seen a lot of salty sunny air.
