SHOW:
CHEVY MADNESS
Orange County Fairgrounds, CA
August 14th. 2005
Oh
The MADNESS!
I can't help but compare. The Chevy Madness show touted
as: "The hottest in Chevy/GM Cars and Trucks rounds
out the summer in California... Chevy Madness, The original
Chevy Show, brings out all the wicked toys from around Southern
California this day." Compare this show with the Fabulous
Fords Forever Show and the turn-out for the Chevy's was
about a third of that of the Ford show. Sure the Ford show
had a lot of cars that would not be considered "Show"
cars. But the passion was felt there as people brought out
their unrestored '67 Country Squire Wagons.
The
Chevy Madness show had a ton of beautiful cars. There was
an Overhaulin' booth with a couple of cars and a bunch of
vehicles from Sir Michaels.
My buddy
Dave and I walked the show each of us with a quest. He was
looking for performance late model cars or trucks for possible
showcase in Chevy High Performance magazine and I was looking
for the unique details.
Car-Shows.com's
favorite ride is the '56 Orange and Brown panel on PAGE
06. We first saw this car at the Super Chevy Show in Pomona
earlier this year. Every detail is considered as this car
looks and performs. Check it out: PAGE
06.
Check
out the pics, and if you were at the show, drop us a line
on what you thought.
