From
Parts to Cars the Pomona Swap Meet Has it All!
For 30 years now the West Coast’s Largest Antique Auto,
Corvette, Porsche, Street Rod and Volkswagen Swap Meets
and Car Show - a.k.a. The Pomona Swap Meet has been the
place to go for home builders and auto enthusiasts looking
for or building their dream car.
It is
broken up into 4 different areas VW and Porsche Cars, VW
and Porsche parts, Classic Cars, and Classic Car Parts.
The parts swap meet is on th right as you enter the vast
Fairplex parking lot. Rows of vendors who get their early
morning on with the gates opening at 5am.
Most
of the vendors are regular people who for one reason or
another have collected odd parts and are looking to meet
with someone who needs the parts at a pretty decent price.
This is a family event. Countless red wagons caravan down
the aisles with kids in tow sharing the radio flyer with
a fendor or other part.
On the
left is the vast car-corral. Hundreds of VW's, Porsches,
Classic and Custom cars line up for inspection. There are
even clubs and other groups of people here to enjoy the
sun and each other.
