The
speakers in this green and yellow 5 window look like the
chrome versions of Highway 39 Drive In speakers. I hope
blastin the Palladins sound better than American Graffitti
at Hwy 39. See more of this car by clicking the pic.

This
is a pic of the c-cab with the OCIR participant sticker
in the windshield to the right>.

This
is a great touch. A vintage raceway sticker on the windshield.
The Orange County International Raceway was practically
in my backyard. It was surrounded by orange groves when
I was a kid in the 70's. I happened to have been working
for the developer/construction company that built an office
park over the old raceway. They had a contest to name
the complex and I submitted names which reminded people
of the heritage, but a typical office park name like WestPark
was chosen.

I
love the paint on this panel. The gold and silver leaf
just melt into the paint scheme. Note the pinstripe on
the cowl. It goes throughout this big bodied panel. FLAWLESS!

I
interviewed the owner of this rod at the Good Guys Del
Mar Nationals and found out that the grey metalflake pinstripe
is actually a vinyl material. I thought he cheapened it.

The
Sultans Car Club in Long Beach have a couple of cars in
their group with some neat touches for the antennas.

I
have never been a big fan of flames on a white paint job.
But this fat rendered delivery had a great blend of maroon
flamees with taupe pinstripe and a soft feathered shado
on a cream base is classy and beatifully done.
