OVERVIEW:
For this project car we are considering offering a
design contest judged by industry experts
depending on the winning design we will develop a
plan to make the design a reality with sponsored parts
and services. In June 2005 we will offer the truck
for auction at the Barrett-Jackson Auction at the
Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, CA. The proceeds from
the auction will be donated to a nationally recognized
paralysis foundation. We will secure the PR and media
coverage for this project to insure the sponsorship
as much airtime as possible.
HISTORY:
1991 F-150 Nite.
In 1991 Ford offered the Nite package on the entire
truck line through Roll-A-Long including the Bronco.
Founder, Tony Colombini picked up this truck from
the local Ford dealer and drove it for five years
and 100,000 miles. He then gave it to his boy, Billy
who drove it another 57,000 miles. A bit of wear
but the tough dog is still a great driver.
It has a 5.8litre V8, Flowmaster exhaust, stock
alloy wheels, black-out grill, rear roll pan and
stock interior.
DESIGN
